Wednesdays Weekly- Men's Gathering at The Social Lounge - The Social Lounge 29 Broadway. Time: 6:00 PM
March 12, Tuesday - Queer Night Out - A gathering of all age groups at Baked Pie Company 50 N. Merrimon Ave., St 103 Asheville 28804 Time: 6:30 PM.

Extended to March 31 Extended to March 31, Cuba Cruise Reservation Deadline. If you would like to join us on our Cuba/Key West- 5 Day Cruise , September 14-19 your $50 deposit reservation must be received to save you space. This exciting cruise will depart Tampa, Florida and include an overnight stay in Havana, Cuba. Cabins range from $329 - $379 per person plus taxes, double occupancy. March 3, Sunday – Asheville Mardi Gras Parade  3:05 PM 
If you want to march in the parade meet at O.henry’s 12:00 PM then will leave for the parade around 1:45. O.Henry’s will be open during this for drinks. 
March 3, Sunday – Gumbo Party O.Henry’s Pot Luck 5:30 PM Everyone is invited to join O.Henry's for their First Sunday Pot Luck. They will be providing Gumbo, beans and rice. Bring your favorite dish to share and stay for the entertainment. 

March 16, Saturday Sart – Mars Hill  The Marvelous Wonderettes, a pop musical about a 1958 High school Prom and a 10 year reunion with top songs from that period. Saturday 2:30 Matinee. We will do lunch before the performance at Twisted Laurel – 10A South Main Street Weaverville, NC. 28787  Special Tickets are gone; however, if you still would like to go, email for availability

March 21, Thursday – Queer Comedy Party – Fleetwoods 496 Haywood Rd. Asheville Time 9:00 PM 1 Yr. Anniversary special big show (Sign up for tickets, Prime Timers $5.00) Let us know (send email) if you wish to attend by March 15.

**March 26, Tuesday – Lunch/Meeting – Harbor Inn Seafood Restaurant 800 Brevard Rd. (in front of Biltmore Outlet Mall). Time: 11:45 AM ** note, incorrect day was sent out.  Correct day is above. 

April 6, Saturday – Overnight trip. UNCG Greensboro International Festival – Free Features dance, music, food from around the world. On Campus 12:00 PM-5:00 PM Stay at Econolodge on Seneca Rd. off I-40 8 mi from Campus. $60 - $74 Sat-Sunday stay. Full Details are on DayTrips

April 15, Monday – Dinner/Meeting Prime Timers will gather for dinner and discussions. Place: Fats Café 5 Spartan Ave. Asheville 28806 ( off Patton Ave just up from Wendy’s on the side street) Time: 6:00 PM

April 21, Easter Sunday    Happy Easter 

April 5-21 – ACT – Alice in Wonderland  performance at ACT Asheville. (Inform of interest in attending)

April 28, Sunday – Carolina Mountain Cheese Fest -Highlands Brewery 12-5:00 
Held on the grounds of Highland Brewing Company. A full day of fun, demos, workshops, music and of course cheese for tasting and purchasing. There will also be food trucks for more substantial offerings. The gates open at 1:00 pm and go to 5:00 PM. Special advanced reduced rate for Prime Timers is $8.50 general admission and you must make a reservation by March 15. Tickets go fast. Regular Tickets if not sold out will be $21.75. Anyone going that would like to participate in a Noble Cider & Cheese paring at 1:15 or a Walnut Wine and Cheese paring at 2:40 , there is an additional $11.30 for each. Let us know and we will obtain your ticket at the same time.

Saturday –(Date open) Horseback riding -Sandy Bottoms and/or Hot Springs Spa Depending on interest in horseback ride. 
 Definite Spa Day with lunch in Hot Springs at Daves 209.

Mid Week or Weekend (?)Day Trip - The Orchard at AltaPass Spruce Pine - Group Hayride with story telling 45minute ride around the mountain top. Monarch Butterfly Pavilion – raise butterflies. Wednesdays – Music and Mic jam sessions – free from 1:45 PM each Wednesday Wed – Sunday May – Sept. Mountain Music and dance.  

June 29 Saturday – Overnight trip to Charlotte and co-ordinated visit with Charlotte Prime Timers to include Charlotte Caribbean Festival with Parade 11:30 AM – 11:00 PM  Details on lodging and all events to come. 

Jun 7-July 6- Flat Rock Playhouse – Performance South Pacific ( Interest in going and when)

July 11-21 SART- Mars Hill Something’s Afoul  a Murder mystery Comedy musical (Day to be decided)

Saturday day trip - Emerald City – Emerald Mine – Spruce Pine , Pan for Emeralds, Lunch with a view at Mountain View Restaurant, (15 minutes from Emerald City)
